George (he/they) joined Roundabout in Spring 2022, working in educational settings with young persons experiencing a variety of emotional challenges.

His former experience as a theatre practitioner and humanitarian clown enabled them to work in a multitude of settings, from maximum security prisons in Italy, to refugee settlements in Lebanon, to migrant reception centres in Greece and France, to retirement homes and schools across the UK.

As a mental health practitioner, their work has focussed mainly on young persons with ASD, ADHD and PMLD, adults struggling with substance use, LGBTQ youth and migrant and refugee young persons and adolescents experiencing emotional difficulties.

George is also currently working as an oral storyteller in different settings – including in retirement homes, online and in the wilderness – and as a clown and play facilitator in temporary accommodations hosting war evacuees in London.
