Roya has worked as a Dramatherapist for over 35 years, having trained at St Albans, Hertfordshire in 1987. She has a background in working with looked after children with special needs including Autism, for Social Care and in schools
Having supported teachers at Special schools in North Africa and worked as a part lecturer in the UK, Roya is interested in training and development for all staff.

Roya has a special interest in complex grief and later trained as an EMDR therapist. She is interested how certain groups in society face dislocation and further trauma by the systems that are supposed to support them.

She presently has a private practice where she sees adults, adolescents and families and offer supervision to Individuals and Teams.

Roya would like to support Roundabout in their drive to recruit diverse members of the Trustee board.
