In order to raise funds for Roundabout, a team of 8 took part in the Three Peaks Challenge on July 9th 2018.
Starting at 4pm our Superhero Team: Tim Haythorne, Richard Handley, Will Richardson, Ollie Swinburn, Adam Montgomery, James Barker, Mark Haythorne, and Bernie Handley climbed Ben Nevis (1344m), then travelled to climb Scafell Pike (978m) in the Lake District (in the dark!), before finishing their challenge at Snowdon (1085m) all in 24 hours. A phenomenal achievement! Thank you to the Superhero Team, all their sponsors, Yellow Doors and CLIF Nutrition bars.
The team raised over £5,000 which enabled Roundabout to run sessions at:
Manor School – half a day for 8 weeks
Foresters School – half a day for 8 weeks
Acorn Lodge – half a day for 8 weeks
and Purchase 30 sets of Emotion Stones.
